I have studied photography alongside my work for 7 years. One of the highlights of my career has been to be awarded the Finnish Professional Photographers Association’s Master of Photography title, which is awarded for a series of 20 photographs. A total of 44 have been awarded since 1979.
I gave up my studio in Tampere, Finland in 2022 and currently live part of the year in Finland and part in Torrevieja, Spain. I enjoy the variety of not being tied to a place and being able to take photographs exactly where I am. Now that my two children are living on their own.
I have been teaching photography to private students since 2020. It’s amazing to see how they are developing in photography.
For the last 5 years I’ve also been making videos, it’s really fun. Coming from a photographer background, it was great to see how much more information you can add to a video compared to a photo. Learning new things is the best!
