Experience the fun and benefits of a holiday
In this week-long course, you won’t be stressed out, yet you’ll leave with the most important lessons on how to take better photos with any medium. The course takes place in a small Spanish village called Guardamar del Segura. The accommodation is within walking distance of the beach and the sun is guaranteed to shine.
No prior knowledge is required for the course.
Whether you take pictures with a mobile phone or a system camera is also irrelevant.
So we don’t focus on camera adjustments but on vision.
We will focus on:
- Seeing natural light and how to use it in photography.
- Composition and cropping.
- The importance of the foreground and background of the image.
- The story of the image.
- The pose of the subject.
- The use of the reflector when photographing a person.
- Combining flash and natural light in the environment for those who want to.
- For a relaxed interaction together.
During the week we will shoot for example sunsets on the beach, street shots in the city, people, landscapes and cats.
Preliminary timetable for the day
First, we will go over the things to consider for the day’s shoot.
Together we will go to the location to shoot and at the same time we will review the things to consider.
Go through the photos as a group and discuss them.
You can skip the programme if you prefer to lounge on the beach or by the pool.
The content of the course can be refined on the fly according to the participants’ wishes.
There are five actual course days and two days off.
